When you take delivery of your new bike our job has only just begun.
Many business's will gladly take your money but then what? We do not
sell just bikes here at Batchelors we believe that people choose to
buy from us, semantics I hear you cry but listen up! We are a small
family business that has been around almost since cycling began and
that is no mean feat. So we don't always get it right but we do try.
The shop is planned to be open seven days a week so we are here when
you need us. With the workshop open for five days a week. The brands
we stock reflect the best manufacturers of our time, we need suppliers
who can match our philosophy to after sales service.
When you buy a new bike from us we fit all accessories
purchased from us to the bike for free, including any bought within 12
months after
having purchased the bike. So if you decide you need some mudguards
or a rack after having bought the bike,come back to us and we will
fit it free, all you pay for is the parts.
Almost all our new bikes come with a FREE first service
which we recommend you take within the first three months of ownership,
but
is available
up until the end of the first 12 months. We take the bike back in
and check over the whole bike to ensure everything is adjusted and bedded
in properly and functioning as it should. We can arrange for the
service to be carried out while you wait, please e-mail or call for details.
Please note this service is available to personal callers only.
All the bikes we supply come with a manufactures warranty,
the parts are normally 1 year and the frames are anything from 1 year
up to life
time warranties, to the original owner. Occasionally parts encounter
problems when it shouldn't, we will replace the part from stock if
at all possible, to get you mobile. Our aim is that you should keep
on riding.
